The challenge in this room was to update the feel as well as bring a sense of elegance to the home's main living area. To do this we refinished the hardwood floors (that spent the last fifty years under carpet), added french doors leading to a new stone patio, and most significantly, we added arched entryways to each room creating a definite sense of atmosphere.
